The installation of the awning went almost perfectly, the only mistake was my own, forgetting to install the hood before attaching the awning to the brackets. Getting a finger in there to thread the nut turned out to be impossible, so after wasting half an hour trying, I simply detached the awning from its retaining bolts in five minutes and all went well. Other than that, the install was very smooth, my experienced helper commented on the quality of the product more than once, the mechanisms are are well designed and sturdy, the fabric is high quality, the wind sensor was gratefully pre-programmed, the delivery was way ahead of the projected date, and we have been able to enjoy the awning right now, when I was going to be thankful if we even got to receive delivery before we have to leave for the winter. I could not be more pleased with the quality, not only of the product, but also with the degree of personalized support throughout the order process. Well done, and many thanks!

The awning and cover were easily installed after following some sample videos. We will see the issue of durability in time. With our wind on Nicola Lake we had to remove the flap(valence) and will arrange to get it cut in two and sewn to a 4 in depth.
